On July 15, leaders from the Jiufenshan Branch Company and heads of its subordinate farms carried out multiple tasks focusing on scientific fertilization for increased efficiency and ensuring food security.
- At Heshan Farm, on the afternoon of July 15, Liu Jian Sheng, member of the Jiufenshan Branch Company's Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, conducted an in-depth inspection of agricultural production. He affirmed the significant advantages of combining the high-gantry sprayer developed by Shandong Xiangrui Agriculture and Forestry Technology Co., Ltd. with delayed nitrogen fertilizer application in corn topdressing. He requested optimization of the agricultural machinery's performance and the summarization of a replicable and promotable model. On the same day, the Jiufenshan Branch Company held an on-site meeting on the modification of high-gantry machinery for delayed nitrogen fertilizer application, observing operational demonstrations. It was noted that the modified agricultural machinery boasts high stability and extends the topdressing time to 12 leaf stages, improving fertilization precision and efficiency. All farms were urged to actively introduce and promote advanced equipment.
- On July 16, Daxi Jiang Farm used the self-propelled boom sprayer developed by Shandong Xiangrui Agriculture and Forestry Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct a trial of delayed nitrogen fertilizer application for corn. Topdressing was conducted using a self-propelled high-gantry sprayer to address the difficulty of late-stage corn topdressing, meeting its strong fertilizer needs. Subsequent work will include field management and data recording to provide a basis for scientific fertilization and contribute to a new stage of improved quality and increased production in agricultural planting.
- Liu Jian Sheng emphasized the need to focus on key aspects of summer management, including water and fertilizer management, pest and disease control. He stressed the integration of high-yield technologies, strengthening agricultural foundations, and ensuring a bumper harvest. The meeting also called for the proper use of agricultural project funds and subsidies to benefit growers.
